I will be chroming out my own valve cover after the winter is through. I have already stripped the paint off my OEM cover.

DIY style- I bet I could get it to look pretty close to that without spending anything near $112.

It's a nice cover though.

What you will get is maybe a polished cover, and that my friend is no where near chromed out.....You have to send it out to get chromed......thats the difference....time, money.......I think its worth even 200.....for a car show for shizzle...

I'll send you a pic, I started on my uncles cover because his Accord is kept in the garage. It's coming out real nice.

I'm going about the long and ardous process of polishing one. I've got a spare from a junkyard and I'm going to start in once I get home from Memphis...which might be never the way things are going (I'm the computer guru down here)!

Here's some pictures of my uncles valve cover. This valve cover was striped of the factory paint and polished. You can see the reflection of the ignition wires so I'm happy with the way it came out.
