HOW CAN I BE SHURE THAT THE TRANSMISSION WILL FIT???

is there anything that I will need to bo doing on the tranny to fit ???
I meen I dont want to buy it and then it wouldnt be able to fit... waste of money...

The GS and LS tranny's are the same so it will just bolt up like the old one. I don't know why you think you need a new ECU because that will not matter no matter what tranny you get. I would also replace the clutch,PP,and throw out bearing while doing the tranny. Remember all B-series tranny's will bolt to any B-series engines. h:

Where did the tranny blow up at? Around the gears, differential, or the housing around the clutch?

i sure hope you didn't buy a new computer cause that would be a waste of money. where did you get the idea you needed a new ECU???
