Default Brand Name Gas?

Is there difference brand name vs non-brand name?
WHich brand name do u guys use?? (shell, exxon, texaco, amoco..etc)
and the octane level....

mines 02 accord ex. 4i
and the manual recommends any octane level above 86..

tell me some of ur experiences between brands and octane levels..

I use shell. I get better gas milage with shell compared to walmart or bp. I run 87 with timing at 18 degrees.

No. And you should use either 86-87 depending upon what's available.

The only brand i dont use is Maverik, dont know if everyone knows what that is...but there was a story a while ago that you cant use it in lawnmowers cuz it eats the pison rings...so anything that eats lawnmowers rings isnt going in my car...

Other than that i just use 87...no need to waste the money, dont help with anything unless your running turbo/hi-compression stuff...

i use shell 87 and i get it cheaper since i use the shell mastercard
