Default should i check the valves again?

i did a valve adjustment and then got the timing adjusted after the valve adjustment. Somtimes when i am at idle it drops to like 750rpm and everything is kinda shaky.. should i recheck the valves or is there like an idle adjustment screw on there? (95GSR)

The car does have an idle adjusting screw but I would use that as the solution only if the idle is consistently low. When exactly does your idle get too low? When the car has warmed up, when the car is cold, etc. Describe all of the conditions of when this happens. It's probably not the valves or ignition timing.

Default low idle spec is 750rpm

Sounds like your low idle is within spec: 750 +/- 50rpm

Not sure what would cause your car to shake.... let us know what happens.....

ok theres like a little bit of maybe carbon (Black) and a touch of a tan color but they look pretty normal. it is not at all seriously discolored, all day after it warmed up it was idling at like 700. i think maybe the idle needs to be adjusted.

The oxygen sensor should be fine if you're not getting any CEL codes. If the car is consistently idling low when warmed up your problem is either a bad idle air control valve (IACV) or your idle adjusting screw is set a bit too low. Here's how you adjust the idle screw, you can see if that helps.

(These are from a 1993 Helms manual so just go by what it says for the B17A1)

mr fat booty, I have asked about this question before, my car idles at 500rpm
all the time, i tried to adjust idle(wouldnt do any thing)
do i perhaps need to look into timing belt or valve adjustment?
and by the way mr fat booty i decided to go with your advice on beginning
modding my car with suspension first engine 2nd. Thank You.
