wiper arm adjustment
I have a 94 EX sedan. The dealer adjusted the wiper arms to lower them on the windshield a little while ago and now the tips of the blades hit the black plastic molding where the windshield meets the car. Also, the passenger side arm actually hits the hood. It looks like adjusting the arms should be as simple as loosening or removing the cap from the stud, moving the wiper arm, and then tightening it down. I tried that and it feels to me like the cap was attached incorrectly and there might be damage to the thread.
If I remove the cap and totally wreck the threads on the studs, is it difficult to then replace the stud? I don't mind spending a few bucks on parts, but the less the better.

ya its as easy as loosening the nut pull the arm up a little and put the nut bak. or just take it back to them and tell them that now it hits the hood so if anything on the thread breaks its there fault on the spot.
