2003/4 oem wheels on 1998 RL fit??? Also need rims.
I'm thinking about putting 225/55/16 tires, 16x7 rims on my 1998 RL which came stock with 215/60/16 and 16x6.5 rims. I've noticed that the 2003/4 models changed to the wider rims and tires. I would assume I need to upgrade to the wider rims for the wider tire? Has anyone done this? Will there be any problems associated with doing this...ABS braking, suspension, fitment, gas mileage, speedometer off, computer, or anything else that comes to mind? I have a brand new set of Michelin MXV4 Energy Plus take-offs, so I need the rims now. Anybody have any rims that they want to get rid of? Let me know.
