Default 'Nother simple How-to: Flushing the power steering system

This was simple, but a very stupid mistake sent power steering fluid flying all over the place... how you can prevent that happening to you...

Erp... will type more in a bit, but I hit the wrong button

1).Jack up the front of the car and put it on stands.
2).Siphon or pump out a good amount of fluid out of the PS reveroir.
3).After you siphon or pump out enough fluid from the reservoir so that the fluid level is below the fluid return hose, disconnect the fluid return hose and connect in to about 4 feet of clear vinyl hose. Make sure the vinyl hose is thick enough to make sure the connection is tight enough with the car's return hose or else fluid will be everywhere.
4).Send the other end of the vinyl hose into a 1 gallon milk jug or something on the floor. Turn on the car and turn the wheel back and forth, from lock to lock, until fluid stops getting pumped into the milk jug. Turn off the car.
5).Reconnect the return hose to the reservoir.
6).Fill the reservoir with fresh Genuine Honda Power Steering Fluid up to the MAX line, turn on the car and turn the wheel back and forth as you did earlier, making sure the PS reservoir has fluid in it always or you are gonna haveta turn the wheel alot more later. Try keeping it at MAX. You might get some foaming. If so just turn off your car and stop for a bit, let the foam die down. Start again after the foam goes away.
7).When the level stays at MAX after turning the wheel a few times without needing to add fluid, turn off the car and stop. You are mostly done.
8). After a day or two of driving check the fluid level and check for leaks. Make sure it is at MAX when cold. If not, add fluid to MAX.

Should take about 3 bottles if you are clean but to be safe I would have 5 laying around. Honda PS fluid is cheap, like $1.60 a bottle at my local dealership.
