Default 1994 Legend A/T problems

ok heres whats up: sometimes my speedometer will drop to zero while i am driving and the green box around D4 starts to blink, then the check engine light comes on, although, the performance of the car is not affected. It seems to occur only after the car is warmed up. Also, sometimes when the speedometer works, the needle bounces around, it doesnt stay at the actual speed. The D4 light starts flashing as well. Once or twice while the speedometer was boucing around, the transmission felt like it was slipping, but if i let it coast for a few seconds it will stop slipping. I believe that the trans is shifting harder than it should. Ive only had the car for a few days, so i dont know how it should be shifting. I've been checking out some forums and ive read that flushing the tranny helps most peoples problems. has anybody out there experienced what i am? if so please help me out! i love this car!

oh yeah, its a 1994 Legend 2dr L type II with 127k miles

I Had the same problem with my 92' coupe. The dealer told me it was a faulty speed sensor. Have it changed and all of those problems should clear up.

Ya I had the same problem with my 94 gs, and for 4 months I had to drive with my speedometer stuck on zero. They had to replace sensor chips on the tranny and its perfect now
