Default Car shakes at 60 mph

I live in NY, it snows last few days, i parked on the road side.

so i went to dig out my car day, took a spin on the highway, and at 60mph, it started to shake really bad...

any of you experience that?... do you think it's the ice under the car. or something else?

Has it ever done that before?

Wheel shaking at highway speeds is a common indicator that your wheels are out of balance, IE weight(s) fell off.

This happened to me as well after a storm. I had a shitload of snow inside my wheel. I like chipped it off, but it was still offsetting the wheels.

yup take some hot water and melt da snow off ur wheels....if that doesnt fix it get your wheels balanced....if that doesnt fix it check your brakes and claipers and make sure they havent seized....and if dat dont fix it...plan to pay out da ass to fix it cause its gonna be something big. Im pretty sure its gotta do something with snow in the wheels though.

take it to the nearest tire place, and have em balance them, make sure they use the right weights this time so they dont fall off again. oh, and if you have after market rims, ask for a " Static Balance" the weights only go on the inside of the rim this way...

Thanks all replied.

It's fine the next day after the snow melted.
