Default 6th gen tail light leak

hey well i have some red/clear tail lights and i've had them for a while, but just now the left tail light with the back up light started to take on some water, and when i open my trunk water leakes through the taillight part, forget what its called, the red light that just turns on when you turn on your lights, but it happened on my stock lights and i got these and thought it went away, what can i do about this?

You can try getting the water out, then resealing them with some silicone glue around the seal.

remove the tail light, then get some silicone from HomeDepot or walmart. drizzle the silicone over the part of the tail where the lens meets the rear housing. then take a piece of cardboard to run over the seal to make it flush and even.
