Motor Swap

I just got my motor changed yesterday after a month of the car sitting there. Now the guage the rpm won't stay it bounces from one to three and back again. Does anybody know what i should do?

Is it just the guage or is the engine actually revving from 1K to 3K?

hmmm the guage goin' from 1k to 3k bk and forth
