I dont know enough about the K's to really give any idea. I'm almost positive it's going to be expensive (aside from the price of the engine) and you're going to need custom fabrication. The mounts alone that you mentioned are almost $700 alone.

that engine is hella expensive, but which k20 are you talking about, theres two of them. either way, that engine is very expensive, but companies say that its going to be a great engine and your probably going to hear a lot about them.

It is a great engine. The "new LS/VTEC" would be to incorporate the K24 block (2.4 ltr) from the Element and a head from a Type-S RSX. They did that combo in Honda Tuning to a new Civic Si and reportedly put out 293hp with a supercharger. Thats serious engineering to get almost 300 hp from a 4 cylinder.

It is a nice swap but honestly... I don't think it's worth the money.

I'm almost thirty years old, i got a pretty good job. i love my sol and want to keep it for a long time. also in the show scene. the rest of the car is done. was thinking about gsr turbo, but every gsr motor has about 30k,40k on them already. $3000. good turbo kit is say $3500. thats $6500 plus installation. already found a k20a -rsx type-s motor 8k, tranny, ecu for $6000. w/mounts $6700 . i think the k motor will be more reliable, have a wider selection of aftermarket parts, be alot more eye catching than the gsr. simply because how many people can say i've got a rsx type s motor in my del sol. - none.
