Default synthetic engine oils

hi all HAN members,
i am living in asia,(china region) and i have been using Mobil 1 synthetic for my 94 vtec civic.
the problem is that i am paying about $60-00 usd for the 4 liters of oil my car takes.
i saw that the shop also has a brand of synthetic oil called Whiz pro F1 made in the usa which is a lot cheaper.(half price).
do any members know of this brand or use it.
any comments.
thanks
mfm

Never heard of it.

A less expensive synth would be Castrol's.

Wow, that's expensive. I pay about $5 per bottle in a 6 bottle case.

Never heard of "Whiz"... but see if Castrol or Valvoline's synthetics are cheaper...

off-topic, but would you mind showing some pictures of your civic. I would like to see.

How many miles or km are on your car? If it is high-mileage, from what I hear synthetic might not be the best choice.

I have about 120,000 miles, so I started using Castrol GTX high mileage. I also used penzoil oil treatment with it. It seems to work well so far.
