I was told by my local Honda dealer that a keyless entry unit I found online may not be compatible with my Accord. Is there a difference in the wiring harnesses of Canadian & American Accords? This would be the first that I've heard of this. He also stated that they do not sell the keyless entry unit, but have it bundled within a security system kit for $550.00
Has anyone here (Cdn or Amer) installed the KE unit in their 6th gen, and if you did, which P/N did you order?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but have you looked at aftermarket alarm systems with keyless entry? I'm happy with mine.

I have the KE with security and it sucks @$$ get an aftermarket alarm system most should come with KE option and for half the price u quoted.
