i have tokico illumina on my ground control. i have had them since july 2003. I have them set on hardness of 3. And just a few weeks ago they began giving off a squeeging noise.

couldn't you do something to maintenance that noise? It's not wearing down or effecting performance is it?

not gona do any good, gota take em off, ship em out, have it rebuilt. Got no back up shocks to use during this except the blown stock shocks.

The AGX or Illumina will both be alright for a good while as long as you don't use too stiff of a spring rate or lower the car too much. The GC springs aren't *too* stiff for them so as long as you retain a decent amount of suspension travel you won't over work them. Otherwise if you want no possible trouble from the shocks then get Koni Yellows.

But if you didnt buy the Ground Control specifically designed for Koni shocks, you need an adapter -$$.

Your best bet would be as follows:

1.) sell your ground controls

2.) buy full coilovers such as Tein SS, which many members on this board have highly praised.

In the long run its gona save you money and quite possibly the frustration of not being happy with your setup. (stupid squeeging nosie :madfawk: )
