Had a former Acura mechanic atttempt to remove both sections of the backseat..no success. Please, I ask, somone tell me how to remove the sections!!!. If you think for the "seat portion" it simply lifts up, it does not. It feels like it just snap into place...but it will not give. For the backrest portion, there are not any exposed bolts going through the trunk.

There are 6 bolts and 2 hangers that hold up the back seat. 4 bolts hold the bottom and 2 bolts are behind the headrest. To pull the seat, bend one of the sides towards yourself while lifting up and it should pop right out.
