Will a High Flow Converter for a 99 Civic Si work on a 99 Civic Ex?

Yes, they are directly interchangeable.

I was going to ask how much hp you would gain by placing one of these on a stock 1999/2000 Civic EX (I am considering this exact converter, but would like to know before I buy).

the Si might be a little shorter than the EX.

you wont see a whole lot of gains by itself. you have to pair it up with a header and free flowing exhaust to see some gains.

I lost HP and gained torque with my powercore straight through race cat on my 00 EX.

Are there any quality issues with those cats? I remember reading a thread a while back where people were saying that they would deteriorate after a few months to a year. :dunno:


Can someone clear me up on this?
