oil burning
i've seen this on a few other hondas and a few other sols, when i stomp on the gas in 3rd my car puffs smoke like a chimeny. i dosn't do it when i'm stoped and it won't allwas do it in 2nd. scince i've had my car i've had the oil changed twice and both times the over filed it by like 1/2 liter it was way over the fill circle well i took it to a honda dealership and they did it right. i want to change my own oil now and i was just wondering if the over fill in the oil over a period of 9 years would make my car smoke and what is the best oil to change your car with?

If it's over filled, it'll blow past the rings and get burned up. It's not really good for the rings, but I'm wondering if you're just burning off the excess....

well the oil level really dosen't go down over the 3,000 miles i looked for that. i had an o2 sensor problem on my other car but i never saw any oil burning with that. i tried to check the air filter but the stupid dealership screwed on the box sooooo tight i broke a screwdriver trying to open it
