Ok, i've switched around my decisions on how i'm going about getting some good HP outta my CTR motor.

k, i plan to later on (like a year or more) to lower the compression w/ pistons, etc

but right now i'm getting a turbo kit for a Si motor and using a thicker head gasket to lower the compression to 10:1 from 10.8:1

what's gonna b the best turbo kit for around 220-260 whp outta that motor? price isn't that big of a deal, 'cuz i have $ and also i work at an import shop so i get b price drops

GReddy doesn't really impress me...
RevHard doesn't make one for the Si (from what i've found at least)

FMAX seems ok, anyone w/ personal experience/links from info/dyno charts here?

Drag Gen III the +80 or the +100 seems ok, anyone w/ personal experience/links from info/dyno charts here?

thanx,

Jay

DRAG is the best kit for the money i would say.
you can get that kind of hp with a supercharger too and its easier to install

If you have the money get a Jackson Racing Supercharger. It'll give you constant power..none of that turbo lag. And charged is right..it won't take as long to install.

Would a turbo be eaiser on gas though? Seeing as its not always forcing air like when your on the freeeway going to work or something slow?

thats why you need an electric s/c clutch.

You're thinking about adding power.. who cares about gas

Gas should be the same as a supercharger. You should use the same octane for both. I would get a supercharger..they seem to be much safer on your engine and more reliable. Plus, most people with imports use turbos, not superchargers, so you'll be one of a kind
