Default Thinking about doing a 5-lug conversion

I have noticed a set of wheels that i think would look great on my Teg, but they are only available in 5-lug.

What would be involved to do a conversion on my 94 GSR?

Anyone have a $$$ figure that I can use for reference?

Well, a typical price for a 5 lug without ITR wheels is anywhere from 1200-1500.

This price includes the entire rear trailing arms, rotors, discs, bearings, calipers and front knuckles.

You get bigger brakes, but for the dollars better braking can be had w/ 4 lugs. Mostly a showy option.

I saw something on Modacar.com for a 5 lug conversion at only $225. It didn't include breaks though.

I want to install the 17 inch BBS factory front wheels from the Zanardi edition NSX (Type S in Japan) on all four corners of my GSR. These are a 5 lug wheel.

These BBS wheels are very light weight, and would represent a show item that no-one else would have. I like the idea of being origional.

Would I really need to replace both rear trailing arms?

Just hubs would be a lot cheaper I suppose, but I would still need 5 lug rotors... Lots of money, probably not worth it.

Thanks for the responses

Phil

I am very impressed with the difference ITR susp makes on a GSR...the braking difference is totally noticeable.

If you have the money go for it. It would be an awesome looking conversion.

Its not the most cost effective braking modification, as it runs around $2k...but it is very nice.

You would have to get rid of your current springs/shocks...you can keep the front I believe, but the rear is different due to the LCA's...although you could just keep the regular Integra LCA's I believe.
