Default CEL 45: System Too Lean or Too Rich malfunction in the fuel monitoring systems

ok...today i drove my car to my friend's house and my CEL wasn't on. but after i left his house, i saw my CEL on. i got home and then i checked the code and it gave me a 45. any idea why this would come on, and is there anything for me to do, or will i just fix itself and go away? any help would be great. thanks

well the light ended up going off by itself. but now while i was at a stop light, i was in first gear and had the clutch all the way pushed in, and my car just died. is this cause there is somethin wrong with the fuel or wha? ...any ideas? i am really confused. this hasnt happened before.
