Default what's faster?

my buddy has an RSX with hondata computer, headers, cold air intake, full 2.25" exhaust, he's also running 17" low pro tires.

i have a stock GSR with cold air intake, running 15" all season tires.

we are both pretty good drivers.

who do you think is faster?

This is purely because of his mods correct? i mean the base HP on an RSX is 160, and the base on a GSR is 170, i bet with those mods he is pushing like 175-180 on the RSX, wouldnt this be a much closer race? the 17s have got to be negative hp as well...

and the rsx-s responds really well to bolt ons. you can get one into the mid-14's with just bolt ons.

As an armchair racer, it sounds to me like it'd be close because they have similar mods and although the RSX has H/E over the GS-R, he also has 17" rims which will likely affect performance. How much, I don't know. You'll have to just race him.

P.S. Anyone else think it was weird that he has a Hondata on only I/H/E?

^^^ Agreed, and yes that is rather odd that he has a hondata with just that, you cant really consider that a +hp mod with just that little, can ya. How much can he really have to tune?
