I have a 92 Legend L with the factory alarm/ keyless entry working. I am almost certain the remote is not the original in fact it looks aftermarket but seems to unlock and lock the doors fine. Ever now and then the car will not start very easily. If is stick the key in the ignition and wait a few seconds the light on the dash go off (check engine and ABS) However when they stay on with the Key in the 2 position I know the car will not start. It cranks but just will not "catch". If I play with the alarm (disarm and arm a few times the problem seems to go away. The Check engine light will only light up for 5-10 seconds and then dim, after that the car starts no problem. I think it is something to do with the alarm. Any ideas or are the ABS light and Check engine some kind of code? Any Help would be appreciated. Also I was wondering if there was a way to just pull the fuse on the alarm to test out my problem. I can’t seem to find a fuse for it. Thanks
