Default Need help REMOVING nut on thermostat housing.

Everything has gone alone fine until I got to the thermostat housing, I got the top nut off but cannot get the bottom of. Here is the picture of what I am talking about:

I did what they mention and remove the top part of the air box, but that only along enough space for the top nut but the bottom nut is ....... a PAIN IN THE ASS.

I cannot remove the bottom nut. Only way I can get to it is use a long extension for the ratchet but then the 10mm socket won't fit entirely over it. I don't want to try and remove it like thus, which is going to strip the nut.

Any tips or help on how to remove that lower nut??? I was rolling along until I got stuck there......

Do you not have a deep socket? BTW, your link is bad.
