Default came across a bad ass deasl last night

well last night my buddy sean (g4hatchie) and i were out when we ran into some of the local honda kids, when the one mentioned that he was selling his "project hatch" for either $1000 or he would trade it for a b16 tranny. so we went and looked at it and it is a cx w/ and imaculate body, and kinda beat interior (its alright i'll gut it anyway"

it got me thinking since im in a rush to find a winter beater the car has a stock motor and needs a distributer, and radiator. since my motor is already out and the tranny is off, i figure i'll trade him my b16 tranny for the car, and put the CX motor in my car (my body is beat and the chasis has 211,000 miles) than when spring rolls around put the ls in the car im gonna get w/ a GSR tranny i have sitting in my garage after i get 2nd rebuilt, and put my lip kit and hood on the new car, since it is flawless outside. and make my car back to stock and use it as a summer daily driver/ winter beater.

cliffs notes for the lazy: im trading my tranny for another cx hatch and swapping everything from it to my car and vice versa because the shell is in so much better shape, and i need a winter beater (my car converted to stock w/ the CX motor and suspension/ wheels)

Sounds like a good plan. Are you going to do it or what?

That's a great deal considering how cheap B16A transaxles are.

I've thought about doing that too. If I find a cheap hatch with a good body, I'll do what I can to get it. I'd like to get a car in that dark grey color :naughty:
