Default side molding question

i got my thin side molding.. is there ANY EASY way to remove the stock molding...

Best way is to remove the door pannels and depress the sides of the clips from the inside. I've never had a problem getting them off using this method and you won't bend your door ripping them off.

my friend just "pulled his off" how risky do you think that is??
