Where is the swap coming from? That's the 96-97 del Sol VTEC and 99-00 Si engine, right?

There are a few sites that sell swaps, my personnal favorite is hmotorsonline.com

If you have an auto, convert it to a manual. Automatic gearing is horrible on VTEC engines, it's way too long.

You need to search.

the B16 itself isn't auto, it's the tranny. The motor that you get is transmission non-specific - just that the one you get has to be for a B series.

Did they even make a B16 auto? I think you'd have to get an LS or GSR tranny, but it will work.

The DelSol must have had an Auto version then cause I'm 90% sure the '99-'00 Si wasn't auto.

Is it a B16A2 or B16A3?

Do a google search for B16A and see what the shops are selling them for.

I wouldn't buy a motor off of Ebay. You will regret it I assure you.

I don't remember what sites sell them. I'm pretty sure that one of our sponsors does... http://www.japandomesticmotor.com/

I think he's confusing the B16A2 USDM motor with the SiR-II second gen B16A.

The autos do exist, unfortunately. There is some speculation as to the cams they use, some say they are less aggressive, so the engines may be slightly different then the manuals. Nothing Crower can't fix.
