Spark Plug opinions

Time for me to change my spark plugs. Right now I have NGKs, and they seem to run alright, but I'm curious about upgrading to platinum plugs.
I've heard people say not to use platinum plugs if the car didn't run platinum from the factory, and I've heard that it can really help give some extra pull.

So I'm looking for opinions here. Any input is great, but I'm specifically wondering if platinum plugs will hurt my engine/ and if they will give me any extra HP / are they worth the money....

Thanks in advance for any advice.

stay with NGK's..they are actually the best you can get for your honda..I had worked on a s2000 that some dude brought to the shop for quite a bit of work to be done..anywho it had platinums in it..they were only about 15k miles old and were burnt to hell..A little longer and 1 of the electrodes would have broken off..That wasnt the 1st time i seen platinums fail like that..We put some Some NGK-11's and car ran/idle fine..just stick with NGK-11's for your car

I figured I was going to stick with NGK or Denso. Ether way seem to be good for Honda.
Worth it to spend extra money on iridium plugs?

Don't spend the money on irridiums IMO, just put fresh plugs in more often.

You say here to go with the NGK -11s. The -11s are the .044 gaped plugs. Honda recommends .032. Will the larger gap be a problem?

Good ole copper NGKs are the best. I didn't notice any difference in mpg or performance when I tried the platniums, iridiums, or the Bosch +2 +4s. Plus you pay twice as much for those.

OK. Thanks for the info. I was about to pay $7 a plug for the iridiums, but if no one has experienced any power increase, then I'll just buy the NGK coppers.
