I did.
I found the Acura on a GMC/Buick dealership lot. These guys are hurting awfully bad. For the 4 hours I was there this morning, I didn't see a single person walk in at all. It's scary because I've been to Honda dealers on a Saturday and the places are jammed.
Anyways, the dealership didn't have the proper people / equipment for a full on inspection. They didn't notice the cracked OEM front lip (hit a racoon 3 years ago). They didn't notice the rough idle on starts (car was fully "warmed up" by the time I got there). They didn't notice some other things that a normal dealer would have picked up on.
The KBB on the trade-in was $3,000. I got $3,500.
The KBB on the 2008 TL-S w. 18K is $30,000. I got it down to $26,250 and it's still under factory warranty. (50K, 4 years).
The GM finance guy is a miracle worker. 3.5% for 60 months ... a true perk of buying from an American auto dealer for sure.
So, after down payment (5K), trade (3.5K), haggle (-1K), and good interest rates, my monthly is only $350.

I've always loved those cars... The only thing I would change would be the auto. I really enjoy driving a stick and don't feel like driving anything else for a while. Congrats on the new ride!

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!! You're like King of the gadget here, so for you to have a car with such bells and whistles, it only makes sense. I figured that you'd find a computer with wheels on it some way or another.

:hugglez: to all. What a supportive bunch. :wtc:
:lmao:
The view from the driver's side is a bit overwhelming. There's more buttons in front of you than a keyboard. There's a learning curve behind all of this, but I'm glad Acura didn't jam all options under a digital menu or something.
:chuckles:
I'm soooo tempted to breakout a mixtape from 1996. Get some Soul 4 Real goin.
