here's a nice interior shot. note the ricer gauge cluster area, authentic mugen automatic transmission racing pedels, ebay special 320mm racing wheel w/ momo adaptor, honda access roof consol, eclipse 7002 in the upper din w/ matching in-dash 6 disc changer in the lower din, eclipse rearview mirror mounted center speaker (you can barely see it), and exposed ecu for the boy-racer look
I'm trying to decide if I like it better with clear or amber sidemarkers
honestly, I think amber would look better
Lookin' good. Can't believe you're still holdin' it down with the 4door.
thanks man, coming from you means alot
yeah, it still hasn't gotten totalled yet. and I doubt the engine will ever die with the way I stay on top of maintenence. whats it been, 5-6 years or so I've had it?
I love this car. I just wish it was faster
my cd changer finally came in. got that put in there.
my drivers-side sidemarker popped out when I was driving through the carwash at work, and shattered (the bodyshop that repaired my drivers side after an accident 9 months ago didn't cut the hole very well). so I have one amber sidemarker, and one clear on :ehh:
the cars finally clean. I should go take some pics....
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your wheel and tire specs?
I'd like to know your wheel size, width and offset as well as tire brand and size.
Also, if you could share your suspension setup and drop in inches.
I like the stance of your car and was wondering what you have to achieve it.
wheel specs, I'm kinda iffy on.
when I order these rims, they had two part numbers. one had 42SMF, and the set I got said 33SMF. so maybe they're 33mm offset?
other than that, they're 16x7
tires are good 'ol kumho ecsta ast's that are 205/40
I have no idea what the brand of springs are. they're second-hand from this guy I barely knew, and they were free. they're soft.... :o
when I measured the fenders of the car, I found they dropped 2.5"
since the tire size is a little smaller than OEM, they drop it down an additional half inch, taking the ride height down to 3" lower (which I verified by comparing it to a coworkers bone-stock 00 lx)
I don't think that they're +33mm, otherwise you'll be rubbing. Or you're rocking the staggered offset? +42mm is more like it (judging by the pics, that looks about right).
Darn it about the tire size. I can't rock 40 series. They're too thin, otherwise, I might as well say goodbye to my wheels.

I have no idea why they'd have two different part numbers
but either way, I just called discount tire (where I got them), and they confirmed.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
you know, I was pretty worried, too. but its really not that bad.
shit, people with 17s roll 35-series. that shit is nuts.
