I think you've heard of the Neon ACR, that's Neon can handle like crazy and they did say all parts on teh ACR can be fitted for the SRT-4. They just chose this type of suspension for a lil more comfort but if you really wanna go all out racing, I'm sure if you tune suspension either w/ ACR parts or aftermarket parts w/ a nice set of rubber like racing slicks and LSD, this car can be a monster @ the track. Just like you, all these things i'm saying are also an educated guess and speculation, so I might be wrong....

sure about that? the SRT-4 (like other srt's) is the extreme version right? so why would it have a softer suspension than the ACR?
