No EGR - that's what somebody else said in another forum. Hard to believe, as they have been around since the 70s! Well, I will look at the other things you mentioned. Hopefully, it will be cheap to fix, as the car's only worth ~ $800. Otherwise it may be time to get a pre-74 car which is easy to work on and does not require CA smog! Thanks for the tips!
