Hey all,

I just bought a 1994 Civic 4dr 5spd with 118k. Would like to change the timing and waterpump. I've never attempted this before and would like to know if I should do it or bring it in.

How tough is it and are there any documents to make this easy to do? Or understandable. I've done some stuff in the past so I'm not completely clueless, but I'm no expert.

Aside from the timing gun, is there anything special I need?

The shop said it will take them 4 hours and cost $290 for timing and pump. I'd rather do it myself if its not too difficult.
