And the LS-series engines are very dependable and durable. The LS1 in my TA went 100k (hard) miles without skipping a beat. I drove the car like I thought it was intended to be driven, and it held...
oh well, I tried. :oh:
So everyone has been posting concepts of the next Accord on the various different forums and some have even done their own PS work on it, so I got bored this evening and decided I'd give it a try. ...
HAHAHAHAHA > Baby got book
What does Honda use for their K-series? Do they use BorgWarner chains?
I had a chain snap on an 84 Deville (w/ HT4100) @ 136k miles. Not the best example to use, but a chain CAN break. I had the car hauled off, I didn't even bother having it repaired. Timing belts...
But aside from religion, have you ever just thought that every living thing is just too complex, especially humans, to have been formed from a big bang in space. I mean, some superior power must...
Lets see, my 83 Accord had 180,000 when I sold it, no problems, ran like a champ. My 96 Accord had 167,000 when I sold it. I bought it with only 40k. Zero problems, no starts or breakdowns.

The problem is that it seems to be getting harder and harder to find a completely stock, adult driven Honda that has never been molested... especially when looking for a Civic, CRX, Del Sol, Integra,...
the late gen escorts are mazdas (engine and tranny) so they are actually reliable>>>
The 1991-96 Escort GT and Merc Tracer LT had the 1.8 Mazda engine, but I wasn't sure about the last gen...
Get a Ford Escort, those are pretty cheap and there is a good chance that it'll be more reliable than the Neon.
The GM mini vans are okay mechanically (the 3400 V6 is no where near as refined or sophisticates as the V6s from Honda or Toyota) but they are generally reliable. I wouldn't touch a Dodge Caravan...
How about red, like mine ;-). This is my 01. 63k miles, bought it new Oct.

I've owned several domestics, They've all been fine mechanically, except for one (95 Firebird). Interior ergonomics/materials were cheesy and build quality was terrible... but they were reliable...
i wish i can tell that to all the domestic muscle car owners who were so ignorant (they can only talk about racing in a straight line, import haters) that i used to be in school with..and all the "i...
Me and a couple of my friends drove from Orlando to York Beach Maine and back in my 81 Civic wagon last summer, took me three full days of driving each way cause I couldn't exceed 55 w/out the...

I believe there is a load limit, check your owner's manual if you have one. If not, should also be listed in the door jamp. The maximum recommended load capacity for my 96 Accord was about 850-900...
Yeah, much better
Did mine the old fashioned way. Not even sure if you can see the santa hat on the sunroof. :oh:
Where are you getting those figures from?>>>
The only source I had readily available, my window sticker. But the point is moot, the percentage of domestic and foreign content has little to do...
The parts content on my 2006 Accord EX-L is:
70% USA 15% Japan and the other 15% sourced elsewhere.
In any case, I believe this is irrelevant. I cannot speak for other manufacturers who may...
