Had the same issues, sort of... And it was indeed the O2 sensor. They don't call them STEALERships for nothing... Glad you got it worked out. Good to know too when I may move out to Denver too.

It's a no-brainer. You get what you pay for.
I try and change mine around every 3K. It winds up being every 4K or so. I use Castrol 5W-30 and change the oil filter (OEM) every time. My 95 with 188K still runs like a champ.
