Default Questions about S2000?

I am really intrested in picking up an S2000 but had a few questions... What is a good price? How fast compared to those turbo punks? any complaints? what years is preferred for the best power? any other opinions are welcome thanks. If u had a choice what other car in the same price range would u buy....

1) price start in the low to mid teens for an early model with high mileage
2) not fast compared to Evos or STIs
3) complaints: none for me, but it's not my daily driver. i can imagine the small cabin and NVH can get annoying though
4) '04-'07 models have more power, dyno proven
5) i'd buy another one anyday

if your oveer 5'10 dont even bother getting this car. You wont fit. Im 6'1 and my knees hit the steering wheel like crazy. Steering wheel is small and it lacks torque.

Lose some weight, I know plenty of people that are 6'1 and fit just fine.

^I'm 6'4'' and I am having the same problem. Has anyone ever changed the steering wheel to a flat bottomed one?

at 185lbs and 6'1 ---yeah, nice assumption that "im fat" ...dumb ass.

even my brother being 5'10 found it quite difficult in the drivers seat. Its a tight area over there.

imagine putting the same sized steering wheel into an S2000 from an accord.

or maybe its just us being over 6'0 tall with people assuming we're fat

Sorry, but this car isnt meant for tall skinny people.

^ And that is what pisses me off about it!!! My legs fit fine (distance to pedals), its just the steering wheel is right on and between my legs which is making for a strange driving position. I want to get this car so bad but I don't want to be kicking myself the first time I take it out and realize how uncomfortable I am in it. I read about lowering the seat but I was just hoping someone had simply changed out the steering wheel. I wish I could just tilt the wheel up an inch but I guess Honda figured they did not have to include that option. Oh and btw, being 6'4'' 220 hardly makes me "fat."

I sit in the car fine but my eye level is right where the sun visor is.
So i have to hunch down a bit, not a problem, ill look like im driving a west coast low rider.
I wish the seat could be moved a bit further back IMO.
I do like the speakers behind the seat head rest.
I didnt like the lack of torque in the s2k too.

The G35 is so much better...You should look into that car.
