Default what do s2k owners think of a miata?

i drove one at zoom zoom live and i love it.. never drove a s2000 but i think i want a roadster now. how does it compair to a s2000. i love the handling and braking on the miata. I know s2k has more power and looks better. I currently drive a audi a4 so i would lose my rear seats and space if i decide to get one.

I don't like the styling...but it's a good autox car. I've never driven one, so I can't comment on the performance differences.

the s2k is already 7 years old, it's about time for a redesign. i'd have to say right now the miata is in the s2k's ballpark just due to design and technological improvments, but not having driven either i can only say 2 things:

one that the good designs never get old, and two that my girlfriends father, a VW enthusiast, has always felt bad he had sold his s2k.

I've driven all 3 gens of the Miata and the latest one, meh. I liked the one before a lot more. It's night and day in comparison to the S. Handling has similar qualities but that's about it.

Yeah... I had an '04 Miata LS before buying my S2000... It was a really fun car and I enjoyed it a lot. Just a tad small for my 6'2" frame... which is why I have the S2000.

I really don't think they're in the same ballpark performance wise, looking at the numbers.

I'd take a used S2k over a new Miata any day. Having driven both, I find the Miata under powered but cute and the S2k to be a Japanese version of the expensive Porsche Boxster.

I hope the rumors are true about a 2nd generation S2k for 2009!

Sorry, but the Miata MX-5 is like 70HP less, styling on S2K outdated?? you got to be kidding me, Miatas are great cars though.
