Help what to buy a Honda S2000 but not good with stick shift
Hi guys I am kinda scared on buying the Honda S2000 the only reason is that is a stick shift. I sort of know how to drive the stick shift but not that good. Is the Honda S2000 pretty easy to drive? I am just warred that if I buy the car I might kill it the fist day. But I really want the Honda S2000. Please help should I buy the S2000 or some other car.

Don't buy an S2K, you don't have enough experience on that type of vehicle... get an Integra, 240, etc... something along those lines :hs:
Get a car you can learn on first...

You can't really compare the TC to the S2K.
The gear box is totally different, it's RWD, and has a tendency to break loose when it's wet out if you don't know what you're doing.
Get a starter car... if you're set on getting a RWD, get a 240, mr2, rx7, etc... some of the older cars so that if you do mess up you're not in a hole.

I been driving my friends TC for like two weeks I am getting better but I am still kinda scared to buying the S2000. If I buy the S2000 I will drive really slow and get use to it maybe that will work. I might go have a test drive this weekend and see how that goes.

if you really like the car..
i say go for it. i bought my prelude brand new and only had about 2 hrs exp driving stick shift. i stalled my car like 20 times the first week and 50 times the first month or so. but ever since then it's been fine and it had no problem from the stalls. but of course prelude is FWD. If you really like S2000, you don't want to buy another car for the first month just to learn RWD stick shift. I'd say GO FOR IT!!! and GOOD LUCK! =)

what you can also do is to go to different honda dealers for test drives. after 5 drives, it would help you learn and feel the car to see if it is your cup of tea. when doing test drives, just concentrate and don't listen to salesman's bullshits. if he's annoying, you can tell him to shut up so that you can feel the car more. put the roof up too so you won't get distracted as much as well.
