What the heck is up with Ti exhausts
Why is it taking soo long to get an exhaust from Bulletproof auto, like going on 5 months. Worldwide shortage of the stuff or what, rant off!

In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the available titanium is being requisitioned by defense contractors.

It's not lack of material, it's the fact that you probably ordered an exhaust that is:
1. popular
2. made in japan
3. not mass produced
Lots of parts are like this...not mass produced, and you have to wait.

Japan to the US is one month, busy season just ended. Trucking in total won't be half as long. Customs is normally not a problem. If it's being kept in customs, it's usually because the shipper (company importing) has not paid all the tariffs and brokerage fees. I rarely see a container being kept for more than a week because someone is paying a lot of dock fees which is unlikely. I'm a shipper too. h:
