Default s2000 model

Hey guys,

Wondering if you might be able to help me out. I'm wanting to buy my boyfriend a petrol remote control car for his birthday this year and he absolutely loves S2000's, not to mention remote control cars .... Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one? I don't care how much it costs either even if its a few hundred, I'm just desperate to get him a mini-version of his dream car.

Any help would be awesome,
Cheers,
Bronwyn

You can get a chassis, engine, etc. and a separate s2000 body for it. This will definitely be the more expensive route and probably more than you want to spend. I don't recall seeing a pre-built s2000 remote controlled car before, but I think there should be one out there somewhere. Maybe try some RC car forums to see if anyone there can help.

thanks heaps. i'll look into that. its really not my area, so i wouldn't have even thought of that as an option really.
any idea how much that might actually cost though? and would i still be able to get most of those things off ebay? or would i have to find other sites ...

i would try a hobby shop first. try to find someplace that has some expertise in this area, and at the very least, they can give you a good lead.

btw, you are a GREAT girlfriend. i hope he appreciates you.

haha thanks, i hope he does appreciate me! i'll try some hobby stores in the city i reckon, that might just give me an idea of at least what to look for. if i could just win the lottery, i could just buy him a real s2k and he'd be sweet for life.
thanks for your help guys
