S2000 are not overpriced because they are not meant for straight line racing.........my roomate's integra has destroyed my s2000 in a straight line but when it comes to turning I walk all over him. It all depends on what you are into.

So what did your KA powered stock 240 run? What year is it? Let's compare stock. A 96-97 240SX stickered for 23-25k for an SE if I recall correctly (could be wrong) and had 155hp and weighs 2750 or so.
A stock S2K is barely heavier, but has a 85hp advantage and a gearing advantage.
Which would you rather have? Stock vs stock?
Hope you enjoy your 240SX and I hope your friend likes his GSX. Now move along and find people that care about your modified cars (I'd suggest the DSM and KA/SR/240 forums). And I can say they are either modified or the S2000's a) don't know you were racing, b) aren't stupid enough to waste their time (or break the law if you mean street racing) or c) were driven by people who can't drive, because neither a stock GSX nor a stock 240 will touch a S2000.

The S2000 is not a dragster. It's a roadster. Read any review of the car in any magazine that's done so in the whole damn world and they call it a "race car off the showroom floor."
Think about this deal. First I drag you guys for $100. And then we go to any road race track in except Road America and we race 20 laps for $200 and if any car laps the other within the 20 laps, the lapped car pays the lapping car $1000.
