06 RSX Throttle Hesitation
I have an 06 RSX standard model.
When shifting from 2 to 3 or any of the other up shifts, the engine hesitates before picking up RPM. It has done this since new. Took it to the dealer twice and they remapped the EEC once. The second time they told me that I needed to use 91 oct. fuel. Did that and still no better.
I would say that 80 percent of the time it hesitates between shifts. Once is a great while, it picks right up and boy what a difference.
I didn't have this problem with my 03 RSX.
What gives?
