'02 RSX flaking leather on steering wheel
I bought the '02 RSX new and it just has 62,000 miles on it. Last year, the top quadrant of the gray leather steering wheel is flaking off the gray top leather!
My local dealer, Acura by Executive in North Haven, CT, don't seem interested in changing out the wheel for free.
Is this a common issue with Acura steering wheels?

But OTOH, your bumper-to-bumper warranty ran out in 2006.
So I'm not surprised by your dealer's reaction.
Realistically, this can be solved in short order by reupholstering your current wheel or seeing what kind of a deal you can find online for a nearly new OEM unit.
