Default Rsx type s subwoofer

I have the base model of the rsx. Im looking for a subwoofer, but if i bought the one that comes with the type s, how do i install it?? Can i still use my stock radio, or do i need the type s radio, or just an aftermarket one?? I need help on how to install the bose subwoofer because im going to buy one.

you dont want the bose subwoofer, just got buy a cheap one. Youll need to the bose amp to make the sub work, so in the end its not worth it

Look for a better woofer than the bose...oh that's any woofer.

Hahah! They speak the truth, it doesn't take much to bottom out that Bose sub.

Don't go near the Type S woofers or system. I have a Type S and honestly, I'd rather have a real basic system than the 6 disk in dash Bose crap with crap woofer that's in there right now. The woofers sound is only slightly stronger than a good set of speakers, and the system itself is a pain in the butt to modify. I have a 12 in RF sub from my last car and 2 10 in RFs from a friend that I've wanted to put in my car for ages. But to do it I'd have to take out the Bose system, get a new deck. It's annoying as hell.

2 JL Audio 10" W0 woofers (separatly amped, of course) on top of the bose system sounds pretty darn good, though (if I do say so myself).
