ok i have an 03 EP3 and when im driving on the highway at lets say 80mph, the rpm's are at 4,000. is that normal or is the engine running bad?
it a 4 cylinder car so id think it would be that high but im just making sure i guess.
so can anyone tell me if thats normal.

thats normal.

reason why the rpms are that high at that speed is because of the shorter gearing.

yeah it only has 5 gears so thats probably it.
