about to buy a 2003 intergra in japan
hello,
I am about to buy a integra 2.0 is in japan. As i dont speak japanese that and have always recently owned preludes, i dont know an awful lot about the car apart from its spec.
Is there anything i should specifaclly look for with the version. With the preludes it was always the abs sensors that failed. Intergra, though, i dont know.
this is the car

Apathy Kills
The DC5 platform is badged as the Acura RSX in our market.
We don't get the DC5R at all.
But more to the point, I'm moving this topic to the RSX forum.
Lastly, welcome to the board.

Are you getting a Type R or iS?
It makes more sense to get the Type R.
Anyhoo I don't know of any problems for the Type R. All the problem on the North American counterpart (Acura RSX) are taken care of in the Type R (better tires, better tranny, suede instead of leather).
And welcome.

thanks for the replies.
I ended up buying a new one instead. Not a r type as it is too expensive. just the normal one, which is only 160bhp and called the s type. r tpye is 10000 dollars more...

Mine is milano red. I love this car. I drove preludes for 8 years and was so sad when they stopped making them. these intergas are beauties. not too big, beaultiful handling and lovely engine.
cheers

he is refering to the counterpart to our base RSX
IMHO the higher pricetag on the type-r is is well justified as it holds it's value so much better because of the quantities produced and the nameplate. the base RSX is nothing but a relativly fun car to drive, but it's still not the same as driving the crazy type-r
my question to the original poster, did you test drive any other cars before this purchase?
