Squeak when turning steering wheel
 
when my engine is off and at a complete stop i tried turning the wheel..and as i turn the wheel i hear squeeking..does that have something to do with the power steering belt? all belt were checked and up to spec..? any help

it does not mean anything of course it is not you belt if your belt is off:slap: you have nothing to worry about

its probly nothing and might even be the tires its hard to turn the wheel at a complete stop may i ask why your doing it.... LOL

im thinking like your doing a full right or a full left turn with the wheel correct me if im wrong...

Turn the engine on. If the sound goes away, you're fine.

oh a friend just happened to turn it for the heck of it and thats when we noticed the squeaking noise as we turn it..it appears to be coming from the wheel but i dont know..its weird because as i push down on the fender its the same exact noise..

ohhh ok. well if it still drives smoth and it dosnt do that with the engine on there your fine. by drive smooth i mean when your taking a turn you dont feel any jerking in the wheel or hanging up on anything
