Clutch slippage
Ny 99 Lude's clutch is feels like it's slipping more and more. It gives NO resistance about 1/4 of the way down. Car has 93,000 miles on it now. I got it at 70k.
1. What are the odds it just needs adjusting? If so how much would that run about?
2. If it need replacement how much for a standard clutch and a good aftermarket? If it's slipping at the rate it is how long could I ride around on that

Check your clutch fluid first. Our cars have hydraulic clutches. Your clutch fluid resivior is right next to the master brake cylinder resivior. I had the similar feel with mine. I checked the fluid, it was low, and when I filled the clutch almost felt brand new. It uses generic DOT 3 brake fluid.

Had it checked today. The master clutch cylinder is f00ked and it's slowly leaking fluid, which is why it feels like a wet noodle.
Shop is going to replace it for $195 including labor.
