Oil sending unit on a 4th gen Si
I need to replace it this coming weekend. It's like a 12 dollar part and the dealership said it's just below the oil filter. My question is what other parts will I need to replace it?

an adjustable open ended wrench.
very common tool.
a small tipped and small handled philips screwdriver
there is a single wire connecting to it, use the philips for that.
there is a spacer type deal too, the sensor itself screws into it, and the spacer or whatever you want to call it screws into the block. that is where the wrench comes in.
it is located just below the oil filter, and should have a rubber boot covering it.
i seem to remember that there is also a 10mm bolted bracket to support the wire.
you may want to remove the intermediate shaft for better access
