Default I need help?

Hey guys i'm new around here and i just my '92 lude a couple months ago. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on mods? I got new pedals and was looking at replaceing the shifter knob. but i couldn't find out how to remove the old one. So any help on ideas for mods or help on my shifter would be great.

shifter boot must be unclipped from the knob before you can get it off
i usually ram a thin flat screwdriver inside the seam between the hard leather knob and the silver plastic (top edge of boot) from the front, then hold it apart, then ram the back.

mods wise, you are gonna have to list your engine...i assume h23a1 (Si Trim).
with a 92 your best case stock is the h23a1 and that should be removed.

the biggest boost of performance you will see is to swap in the h22a/1 motor.

reason being...a fully modded bolt on h23a1 (Si) prelude is going to be in the mid to low 15's if your lucky.

meanwhile i ran a 15.04 (2.3 - 60 ft) with my "stock" h22a1 swap installed. and i have serious traction issues off the line
i also swapped in a USDM motor.

if you can see swapping yourself or know some1 who can do it, its your best bet. otherwise the only downside is the cost of install.
